Judy's Bio:

Judy Guiao was born in the Philippines and came to the United States when she was fourteen. Camera-shy as a child, she learned instead to be comfortable behind the lens. Judy was working on a degree in psychology when she realized she wanted to pursue photography full-time. A keen observer, she attempts to capture events as they unfold and plays with textures and patterns, light and shadow. Although she enjoys photographing many different subjects, she is particularly drawn to children for their boundless energy and innocence.

Judy's current projects include documenting the California coastal community and San Francisco's Chinatown. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two dogs, Shinobi and Niko.
